1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are between you and MJM Aesthetics (“MJM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They cover your use of this website and of the booking page embedded on it. By using the site or booking an appointment, you agree to them. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Information, not medical advice

Descriptions of laser hair removal, facials, lashes, brows, and other services on this site are general information. They are not medical advice and do not diagnose or treat any medical condition. Our team are licensed estheticians, not physicians. If you have a skin or medical condition, talk to your doctor before booking.

3. Consultations and suitability

Some services, including laser hair removal, may require a consultation or patch test before your first treatment. You agree to give us accurate, complete information about your health, skin, and medications, and to tell us about changes before each visit, such as pregnancy, new medications, recent sun exposure or tanning, or other treatments. We may decline, postpone, or stop a treatment if it is not safe or suitable for you.

4. Results

Results vary from person to person and depend on factors such as skin type, hair color and growth cycle, health, and aftercare. Laser hair removal usually takes a series of sessions. Photos and reviews on this site reflect individual experiences.

5. Booking, pricing, and cancellations

• Appointments are booked through our online scheduler, by phone, or by text. Your appointment is confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation.
• Prices on this site are current as posted but may change. The price confirmed when you book, or in the studio before treatment, applies.
• Some services are available only to clients who have purchased a treatment package.
• Deposit, cancellation, late-arrival, and no-show policies are shown on the booking page when you book and apply to your appointment.

6. Aftercare

Follow the aftercare instructions we give you. If you have an unexpected or severe reaction after a treatment, contact us, and seek medical care right away if it is urgent.

7. Using the site

Do not use the site in a way that breaks the law, interferes with it, or harms others. The booking scheduler, Google Maps, and Instagram are run by other companies and are subject to their own terms.

8. Our content

The text, photos, logo, and design of this site belong to MJM or are used with permission. Do not copy or reuse them without our written consent.

9. Website disclaimer and liability

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, MJM is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute about them will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York.
